Nearly sixteen years ago, I finally saw my dream come true when my first novel — the award-winning DarkIsle — was traditionally published.

And since them I’ve published a further two novels in the DarkIsle series, a children’s history book, six indie published novels and one novella.

There have also been a number of short stories. Oh, and two novels that are still sitting in my laptop patiently waiting to be released on the unsuspecting public.

Why am I telling you this? Well, because I’m about to impart some wisdom upon you and I didn’t want you thinking I was a numpty who knew nothing.

All I need is a sheet of paper and something to write with, and then I can turn the world upside down.

Friedrich Nietzsche
